Also, and importantly, I've switched from 1989-1990 to 1990-1991; it's only a year's difference, but I can't find salary information for 89-90 and it's widely available for 90-91.

So: finished teams -

Philadelphia 76ers - Charles Barkley (91), Johnny Dawkins (81), Hersey Hawkins (79)

Milwaukee Bucks - Jay Humphries (85), Alvin Robertson (83), Danny Schayes (80)

Chicago Bulls - Michael Jordan (99), Scottie Pippen (89), Horace Grant (85)

Cleveland Cavaliers - Larry Nance (84), Brad Daugherty (84), Mark Price (81)

Boston Celtics - Robert Parish (88), Kevin McHale (83), Larry Bird (83)

Washington Bullets (Wizards) - Bernard King (79), Harvey Grant (78), Pervis Ellison (72)

I'm working on the Warriors now.

Could you show us some picks of Johnny Dawkins and Alvin Robertson?

The Xman I loved that guy when I was a kid. I actually thought of him as a role model for my game cause I knew that I wouldn't ever play as a starter or anything and thus I said he'll maybe I could be a great sixth man. Of course I never was going to get to the league but it was great to dream.

Wow, you're making nice progress... I'll spend my free time on making draft classes for you if you continue to stay ahead of other roster makers.

Re: 1989-1990 NBA Roster Project

Another update:

Hit a slowdown. The error messages starting coming back with created players. It's incredibly annoying and yesterday I had to delete three guys that took me a while to create. Gonna finish Spurs today and then go back and do some testing/refining of the teams I have so far (including running a few simulated seasons with them to see how they perform in simulation). Back to editing actual players sometime this weekend.

Re: 1989-1990 NBA Roster Project

Didn't get a ton done this last weekend - lots of stuff happening in real life. It might be a slow week this week, too; my brother is getting married on Saturday and things are crazy.

I changed the order that I approach the teams; I'm now working my way down the list from best team (by regular season record) to worst (the bad teams are more fun for me to make, so I'm saving them for later in the project). I'm obviously not throwing out all the work I've done so far, but I'll be cleaning the teams in this order.

So, completely finished (including some fine-tuning based on running simulation seasons; for example, my first time through James Worthy led the league in scoring, so I had to tone him down a bit):

1. Blazers
2. Bulls
3. Spurs
4. Lakers

Finished (not fine-tuned yet)

5. Sixers
6. Bucks
7. Cavaliers
8. Celtics
9. Bullets/Wizards
10. Sonics/Thunder
11. Timberwolves
12. Warriors

I'm also about halfway done with the Nuggets.

Starting:

Tuning for the Celtics, then creating the Suns.

Untouched so far: everybody else. Still, I'm getting close to halfway there. Sometime this week I'll figure out a way to get some pictures up (if worst comes to worst and my technological illiteracy gets the best of me, I'll just take pictures of my TV screen using my phone and get the pictures uploaded that way).
