I've been looking on basketball reference at former NBA finalists and want to do a season with only NBA finalists. I think that's a cool idea yeah?

The above 6 teams make up 36 finalists. Great with 36 team season possible.

I thought about setting 6 divisions of 6 teams based on era. So first division would be team s from 65 to 77 for example. Other conference would be oldest 18 teams, other 18 most recent.

14, 15 and 16 teams are simple. I did them on 2K16. Some of the slightly earlier ones are missing a few players.

I did think about just adding 11 Mavs and 12 Thunder in addition. Leaving out 09 Magic, 10 Lakers, 93 and 98 Bulls (since 91 and 96 exist) leaves a nice round figure of 32 teams.

I'm so mad that Steve Nash isn't in the game. It's probably the most disappointing thing about this year's game. Even if he is created here. I can't play with him online smh.

I know it's frustrating. I'm very frustrated about no 24 kobe outside of myteam. To retire 2 legends like kobe and Duncan and not have them in classic prime rosters is bad. I understand Duncan announced his retirement at the end of season but not kobe and kobe is on cover. This is mind boggling. Maybe they will have dlc that we are not aware of yet.
