Would anyone be willing to help me solve the issue of superstar FTA per game?
This problem is apparently universal in franchise/season mode, with the league leaders in FTA per game averaging only 6.5 or so per game, even when slashers/inside players are scoring 28+ PPG.
I did a test where I had DeMarcus Cousins averaging as many as 12.3 FTA, but only with drastically inflated shot tendencies (which resulted in something like 30 FGA per game).
I did get him at a somewhat realistic (for a league-leading scorer) 22 FGA and 10 FTA. I tried to recreate this with James Harden, though, and couldn't do it.
I can post the tendencies for my Cousins and a screencap of the stats if anyone is interested/thinks it would help us try to tackle this problem.
