Exactly. I think there are enough of us that are passionate about this that they could still make sales on it. I would definitely pay for this. But one thing I won't pay for is unlocking them in a mode that I really don't enjoy (MyTeam).

Is the #24 version 2008-2010 style Kobe on this game? I see 24 Kobe in the Friction trailer, and he certainly is on the cover of the game, so why wouldn't he be in the actual game? But everything I hear the only classic teams added were the 1992 Dream Team and those other country teams...which would mean no classic Lakers beyond 2001.
But how could we not have a Black Mamba 24 Kobe when he's on the cover and the trailer?
Really wish they had the 2010 Lakers.

No new historic teams this year unless we get lucky and they release them in a DLC.

Prime Kobe will certainly be in myteam though.

Nope. That's what this thread is about. The fact we can't use these guys outside of MyTeam.

Seems so strange that they don't answer a simple question like this that gets asked over and over. MyTeam mode clearly shows how much of "business" this game is, which is fine. If they put up all-decade teams or a player pool as DLC AND we could use those players in MyLeague mode I think they could make tons of extra money.


They offered the college teams this year, but since you can only use them in free play I am not interested. If they offered all-decade teams that we could use in MyLeague & MyGM I would have no problem paying extra.


I wish we had the ability to just download single created players that we could drop into free agency instead of full rosters.
