Hey 2K community! My dream for hoops is for every era to be able to play together, and see match ups and team ups and league history rewritten in epic fashion. So with every new 2K to come out each fall, I pour between 200 to 400hrs into the game to create this roster.

2K17 will be my biggest and best version to date. There are more players, and a new theme. I wanted to add in the "what if" type guys to the game. Players such as Hank Gathers, Len Bias, Oscar Schmidt.

As far as the other players go, there are rules to where I place them. Through the bountiful information that basketball-reference.com provides us I place the players on teams through many criteria. Qualifiers include: success with that team, longevity of tenure, ring winnings and in some cases I may place a guy on a squad where he didn't play as long and wasn't as successful for league balancing purposes.

For these players, I edit the following: gear, accurate contract situation with length/structure/compensation for their stay with that team, personal info, ratings and tendencies. The result, ultimately, is essentially every franchises best possible 15 man roster and a deep free agent pool.
