Re: Welcome to The F.D.U. (Fictional Draft Universe) PS4 - NBA 2K17

NBA Draft Declaration
Who's Staying and who's Going

After a heartbreaking loss in the NCAA tournament, Maryland's Demar Brooks has announced that he will be enter the NBA Draft. Brooks had been a bright spot for the Terps all year long averaging 19.4 ppg 4.8 rpg 5.6 apg and 1.9 spg.

Duke bigman DeAndre Dawkins was quick to let the school know he was ready to return for another season under Coach K and the Blue Devils. The move comes somewhat unexpected as the bigman for many is thought to be a top 10 pick easy. Dawkins return may have disappointed some NBA Fans who had high hopes in landing the big fella but this is great news for Duke fans.

Duke has received great news with Dawkins returning, but they are hit the news that Jr. SG Steve Lever will not be returning to Duke for his Senior season. Lever was another bright spot in the Blue Devils deep Tournament run. the Jr. Averaged 23.6 ppg for the Blue Devils during the year and 25 ppg in the NCAA Tournament, this scoring output will definitely be missed.

Khalil Carson, the big man for UNC will not be returning to the Tar Heels next year, which doesn't come as a surprise. For months there was rumors about the big man being a one an done player. This just confirms the speculation. Now it's just about how high he will go....no.1 sounds about right in my book

LSU is set to lose 2 players from their team as Malcolm Gibbs (Fr) and Tyshawn McCallister (Fr) have both decided to declare for the NBA Draft.

Moses Williams a strong Defensive Player of the Year canidate has decided to come back to USC for another go to obtain a National Title. This announcement was make right after USC was beat by Maryland in the tournament. When asked if he was declaring for the Draft, Williams responded quickly "I'll be back, no doubt about it. I'm coming back!" After Williams announcement fellow big JT Woods announced he was returning to USC as well.

Other Declarations

Florida's Defensive stallworth Rodney Gaines has decided to declare for the NBA draft. Gaines is projected to be a top 10 draft pick by most scouts.

Baylor's Patrick Berry, has declared himself for this years draft. The Baylor product has a very solid year for the Bears the freshman posted a 12.9 ppg 5.8 rpg statline for the bears.

Jacob Walsh joins his teammate Rodney Gaines in this years upcoming Draft. Walsh is coming of his best year since the Junior hit the hardwood floor at Florida.

Wizard Kelly after a stellar season ending in a NCAA championship has joined the list of players declaring for the Draft. Kelly is also Joined by his teammate Deion Holloway in the draft as well.

Major Banks calls it a one and done at N.C. State. Banks was a huge player in the Wolfpacks deep Tournament run. "Not only will his production be missed but his leadership will be missed as well." Wolfpack coach had to say of Banks.

BYU's Russell Warner was all set to delcare for the draft but BYU's star player elected to return another year to the cougars.
