You can only download rosters not single players unfortunately. And the "2" means that the player is designated as a two way player, a new designation this year in the NBA for players who can be sent up and down to and from the G League and back to the NBA on a contract.

That's only part of what two-way means. The other, and most important part, is that a player earns a different amount of money per game when they're playing for the G-League vs. when they're playing for an NBA team. It gives team owners more cap flexibility.
