Players seem to play Very SOFT in the Post. Solutions?

All the players in the post play very weak, always passing out - never backing down with any consistency. Very little post play battles. Any solutions To get them play more like they do IRL?

It's going to take a certain combination of things.

Sliders: Increase Look for Post Players/Post Shots

Attributes: May need to increase individual Shot IQ (attribute recognizing they have a good shot opportunity). Increase individual Shoot from Post.

Things of that nature is a start. SonicMage recommended actually 0-ing out the Aggressive Backdown tendency saying it influenced Post Drive tendency as well, he said once he put zero'd it out the post moves became beautiful to watch.

Understand though that if you're going to increase a tendency such as Look for Post Player, you may want to also decrease things such as Mid Range Shot to help facilitate the way in which it works.

Tinker around with it. Individual tendencies, then sliders, AND playbook (make sure there's enough plays in the playbook to run post plays) are what truly bring the game to life.

Happy testing!

I wonder if a lower shot IQ is better. Seems I remember reading something like that once.

I agree though, players go up soft at times when they could dunk it. The passing out happens also but not too much.
