Name in the NBA past and present a player who was a starter (seemingly just to be in starting lineup) but was often quickly subbed out of the game for a bench player/sixth man, who don't actually play a whole lot during the course of a game?

Andre roberson, Luc Mbah moute, Tiago splitter, Quinn buckner, Slick Watts after injury (kept starting to promote ticket sales), A.C. Green (post Lakers).

LaSalle Thompson, Jahidi white, Reggie evans, Amir Johnson, Jon Koncak, Keith Bogans, Stojko Vrankovic. Bjelica this year, although he started out the year so well he held off Bagley. As his minutes diminished so did his confidence/stroke.
