2K20: 1994-1995 NBA Roster (PS4)

I just bought 2k20 again for this roster.

Someone please remind me what I need to do to keep this roster playable after the servers get shutdown. I’m thinking it’s just don’t download arenas and unis. Is that correct?

Im not sure mate, but i guess you will always be able to use it offline. Just not with the custom re-brand stuff

As long as you download the roster before the servers shutdown and don't uninstall in the game, you'll be able to use it offline for whatever you want. If you start up a franchise with it, then you will be able to keep playing that franchise as long as you didn't edit or create more than 3 custom teams. Once you try to edit or customize a 4th team, you'll get a warning that will force an online save of the franchise. Any online saved franchise won't be able to load up after the servers are shut off.

OP no longer provides support for this roster. Does anyone still have this original roster file that they can re-upload before the servers go down?

I receive a message that the roster file is corrupted and cannot be loaded. (In fact, all of crazyh16's featured rosters are "corrupted", likely due to the use of unlicensed players.)

Well i think i still have the roster saved on my ps4, but is it still possible to upload them on 2k share? Are you sure my file are corrupted for license problems? And if i upload again them, wouldnt they still be corrupted if thats the problem?

I'm not sure if they're corrupted for licensing purposes. This is purely my theory -- that 2K hires a moderator to manually browse through popular files for specific content, then flag them if found.

If this is indeed the case, re-uploading the roster would not guarantee the files will end up "corrupted" again, at least not immediately. Using an inconspicuous title for the file name would also help. Something like "A walk in the park" instead of "NBA 1992-93 Season".

But again ... just my wild theory. I could be way off base. =P

Well, I debunked my own theory. Deleted the game from my hard drive and reinstalled it. Was able to download roster after doing this.
