Crash Layups and Hands

I've been maxing out the Crash tendency for some players and I still feel like I see barely any Crash animations. Maybe I'm just looking for the wrong animations? Has anybody gotten them to show up consistently?

Also can somebody explain to me what to look for when i adjust the "hands" attribute/slider? I think the game defines it as "ability to catch passes" but I'm looking for specific animations to look for.

I'm on XB1, thanks in advance! Trying to create a roster set and there is still a bunch I don't fully understand.

I think when the "hands" attribute is higher you see less bobble animations and less animations where they don't catch the ball cleanly.

Do more one handed catches and catches on the run occur as well? Or do those occur regardless of rating?

The “hands” attribute also affects the ability to telegraph passes and deflect the ball, as well.

I tend to put it lower, so like you, I’ll see other animations, but also more unforced turnovers which happen often in real basketball.

I also like to be able to thread the needle every now and again too.

What's your sweet spot?

Also I'm wondering if "post shot" is the frequency at which a shot triggers in the post, or if it's a post jumper animation of its own?

Personally, I put the “hands” attribute usually between 15-30.

And yes, under tendencies, shots in the post should occur more often, as well as “Attack the Paint” & “Look for the Post”. POE and personalized team systems will also affect how the CPU looks to conduct offence.

Thanks, I was actually talking more about the player ratings and tendencies more than the global sliders though. I'm trying to make sense of some of the details in the ratings.
