I am currently trying to adjust tendency sliders to get the correct attempts and then adjusting the shot sliders to make the FG% correct. The biggest problem is that there are too few attacks and layups compared to the NBA with a lot many attempts made when there are drives. It looks like the Devs bumped players on drives and increased midrange and close shots to keep FG% more realistic, but not matching real gameplay. My observations on default:


1. The AI doesn't seem to handle driving well when you turn up attack the basket, due to too much bumping and picking up the dribble. If you turn down on ball defense and lateral movement and body-up sensitivity this seems to help.


2. Way too many mid range and close shots


3. Way too few post shots and inside play outside of putbacks


4. Way too few layups but made at way too high a percentage

I set close shot tendency all the way down to 0 and still see way too many of them. Probably gonna have to go into the roster and manually adjust everyone's close shot tendency

Interesting finding layups that cross the boundary of close vs inside on the shot chart go under close. That means the inside plus close must now be added and FG% recalculated. For instance most teams take 11 FGA from close and 36 FGA from inside (layup+dunk+put back+post). That means the teams should take 47 shots from close + inside since 2k doesn't record properly. About 57% should be made.
