Been looking for a slider set for my ‘MyNba career mode’ I have with the player lock feature. And by far yours has been the best. The pace, difficulty, and overall realism is exactly what I was looking for. It’s fun and challenging while resembling what we see in the nba currently.

I know you’ve moved on from 2k, as most have, but thank you for your work on these good sir.

After a long break from 2K, I tried this set out a bit and im LOVING it. I think ill be using RP% with the normal slider set though as I dont like using timing that much, however maybe it changes.

One question though, should I be using defensive settings to play tight defense on shooters? Games play out great, but in the last game vs Charlotte, they took 67 out of their 112 shots from 3 in an OT game, and only shot 12 FTs. Maybe if I play tight on shooters they'll be more inclined to drive?

I know Talucc is gone for a bit playing The Show, so if anyone else has a recommendation that'd be super helpful. Thanks!

Set Off-Ball D to tight on good shooters, don't go under on picks and don't sag off on On-Ball D.
You'll suffer more points in the paint, mostly because help D is terrible in this game but that's what happens when you try to limit 3s.

And secondly, that's today's NBA for ya.
The whole game is built around picks -> aggressive drives to the hoop -> and finish with points in the paint or kick out for the open three when the D collapses.

Most teams averaged around 35 3PAs per game in regular season with the Jazz being on top with over 43(!) 3PAs which means almost half of their total FGAs (88 per game) were from downtown.

The midrange and post game is basically dead right now because it's statistically less effective, especially when nowadays even Centers can be a real threat from outside..

These sliders are great.

I'd reduce charging foul by 10.
Had 3/4 suck in charges.

I'd reduce contact shot by 40.
Had at least 5 unrealistic toss up animation shots go in.
A 2K issue, they have a few animations that go in at a extremely high rate.

The body up being so low, defender's presence seems irrelevant.
A lot of clipping and no contact when players run into one another.
