The best way to handle this is to go into classic teams etc. and fire as many coaches as you want (I fired all the real coaches on classic teams) but I use all time rosters with tons of classic players in the modern era so who coached in what era doesn’t matter to me, I just want as many real coaches in my universe as possible, so you have them hirable in your MyNBA saves. Of course this is using a custom roster.

I did that too for my modern day nba era but this is no solution if you like start in the Larry Bird / Magic Johnson era were players eventually in modern times became coaches, would be great if they made it so they do become coaches and get updated when time moves on.

Retired players definitely still become coaches. I have a full staff of retired players. It's mainly still just Hall of Famers that become coaches, but some players that later became coaches, irl, but aren't HoF'ers seem to be coded to also become coaches.

Yeah they become coaches.
I had Scottie Pippen become Coach of the Year in one simulation I did.

Cpu never calling timeouts. Still continues on for 4 years straight. That’s my main issue

Yeah, I’ve had this work in older Era modes, but cannot get it to work in the current Era.

I know VC is their priority
But how come MYNBA don't get there own patch every now and then

Mypark/myplayer be getting there own patches even after balance patches dealing with every mode
