I saw a 72ish overall player averaging like 16 rebounds a game and ended up winning an end of season award and he actually only played like 10 games all season for a couple minutes each game.

I have seen this glitch talked about on Reddit, but not around here. Apparently it has been around for a few years worth of 2k, but I got through a good 30 year my era mode on 2k23 and didnt see any of the glitch.

Some claim it has to do with uploading custom draft classes, but I did that all on 2k23 and didn't have an issue. But so far on 2k24 I have seen it in every single save I have tried.

Maybe it has to do with the roster being used, but it's good to know that you haven't seen it.
I e seen the random team one before. A few times it corrected its self once I’ve simulated a few years past it. I’ve also seen where it showed a superstar played for a GLeagie team but then later on corrected its self.

Pics are always cool. I'd like to but I'm not sure if there's an easy way to do it from a PS5.

Bulls/Blazers 2079 - Brooklyn Bounces Back

Well, I just got gut punched and now I'm here to write it up.

In 2078 the Bulls had managed to finally overcome the Nets in 7 games. And while the Nets core remained together as the next year rolled around, 34 year old PF David Moor was losing a step, and sadly PG Curtis Justice was showing signs of decline at only age 28 (meta: Moor -2 for 2nd year in a row to 87, Justice -2 to 88). Pundits looking for hot takes questioned whether the Nets dynasty was over.

But any student of NBA history knows special teams with special players don't go down that easily.

As the 2079 playoff approached, teams scrambled to make sense of the new 1-16, conference agnostic seeding. People had criticized the West for being weak for 2 decades as they always lost in the finals, and the Blazers kept making the finals over and over due to lack of quality opponents. Ironically, the new format didn't really change this. In the end 9 Western teams made the playoffs vs 7 Eastern teams, the Blazers won 70 games, took the 1 seed, and ended up on the opposite side of the bracket from the Bulls and Nets. And just like before they would make it to the finals without much difficulty.

Bulls vs Nets - Be a star in your role
The Bulls and Nets would meet in the semifinals (what used to be the ECF), just as before. Would it be a back and forth 7 game slugfest like 2078? That would be decided by an unlikely player: Nets SF Eugene Harrington.

Most casual fans didn't pay attention to what roleplayer started at SF for the Nets in any given year, only remembering the big 4 stars. But hardcore hoops heads had long known it mattered quite a lot. And Harrington, a 2072 30th pick by the Nets, was about to show it.

With all the defensive attention on the stars, Harrington got free time and again for open shots and poured in 38 points in game 1, 30 in game 2, and 27 in game 3. A shellshocked Bulls team finally held him to 'only' 17 in game 4 but he dished 9 dimes, feeding the red hot Lamar Wright, who would score 60 points in a 136-134 barnburner. And just like that, the Bulls were out. Swept by a team which they'd beaten just the year before, and the key difference was roleplayer Eugene Harrington.

Blazers vs Nets - The Wright Stuff
The Blazers were still pretty confident heading into the finals against the Nets. The young team had matured, 2073 no1 pick Steve Solomon had grown into a real star, and they'd won 70 games and secured home court advantage. They'd also made a significant in-season trade for 38 year old Keith Ewing, a 2 time champion as Yao Zheng's costar in New York, to be their 6th man. Ewing, apparently rejuvenated by being on a contender again, made the allstar game coming off the bench.

After 4 games the series was tied at 2-2. The possibly pivotal game 5 was played in front of the always fanatical Portland home crowd. With the game nearly even going into the 4th quarter, the Blazers would put the Nets into a prison cell, only allowing a single Nets field goal in the final 8 minutes! They took a 3-2 lead back to Brooklyn.

Midway through the 3rd quarter of game 6 I was feeling pretty good about things. The Blazers were up 20 points, and Nets superstar Lamar Wright, famous for never having bad games, was 8-25 from the field. I was ready to write in the first championship of a new Blazers era in my notes.

But even in the most dire circumstances, greatness finds a way. Lamar Wright would end the game with 15-33 FG, which yes, means he went 8-8 in the fourth quarter. Eugene Harrington struck again, ending with 36 points and 8-10 from 3pt, and the team as a whole hit another gear. The Nets would post a 45 point fourth quarter and steal the game, 125-123.

Game 7 was back in Portland but I had a bad feeling about things. It was immediately justified, as Lamar Wright had apparently unlocked ultra-instinct mode, scoring 35 points in the first quarter. The Blazers tried, but they could never come back from that devastating initial salvo. Lamar Wright would end the game with 61 points, his 2nd 60 point game of the playoffs, and grab his 4th finals MVP with averages of 40/5/5.

A heartbreaking loss for Portland, but they're young and they'll be back. It will be interesting to see how this many more times this legendary Brooklyn team can keep showing up to challenge them as they age.

It’s super easy from the PS5. You the share button on your controller to take the screenshot. It’s automatically uploaded to the PS App(download it on your phone). From there you can save it and upload to somewhere like Imgur.

I really hope 2K has a fix for the lighting glitch in the next patch update. The arena is so dim during games. It's like somebody forgot to pay the light bill in the arena lol.

I submitted a few tickets into the support center to fix some very very minor things (things that were in previous iterations of the game, old gen included) so let's see if these mfs actually value feedback that MyLeague players submit lol

Re: How’s your franchise going? NBA 2K24 thread

Larry Bird decided to leave coaching the Bulls to coach the terrible Grizzlies(who haven’t been good since Jordan played there in the 80’s). So the Bulls decided to hire Jordan as coach and he had the single greatest season ever.

In this universe Jordan never played for the Bulls. Lebron James is on the bulls and he is the greatest basketball player ever. He has won 5 rings in 7 years and 7 straight MVP awards and 6 straight DPOY.
