You'll have to let me know how you like 2K on the ROG Ally. I've been debating getting the new one but I had to return the original version last year because of the lackluster screen and the loose/delayed analog sticks.

WAY-too-early impressions from my first quarter of gameplay:

- CPU actually runs a realistic fast-break. Even when your defense has gotten back, they still look to push the pace and feed the paint for an easy layup.

- Plenty of tipped rebounds early.

- Nuggets are feeding Jokic and he's scoring easily in the post.

- Movement definitely feels more grounded, but there are moments on defense where you get that random weightless speed boost during off-ball defense.

- PC graphics are great, with ray traced reflections making the court plenty glossy (far more than 2K24 on PS5, obviously).

- Coaching Sliders definitely need the Help Defense increased. I set the Nuggets and Mavs both to 100 for my test game, as their default 55/65 Help Defense was either late or non-existent. Much better urgency at 100, but not enough drive-and-kick situations (thanks to my **** dribbling) to judge any "help the helper system" just yet.

This is on Hall of Fame difficulty with default sliders. Very happy with the initial look and feel of the game, the fast-break offense of the CPU (and the overall offensive tendencies of the Nuggets), and realistic fouls in the paint.

Again, WAY too early impressions, but wanted to get something out there ASAP for anyone desperate for info lol

Wow this is really good so far. Seems like the first decent leap forward that we’ve had in years. Not sure about the online stuff but the core game seems genuinely improved.

I’m waiting for some mods to add Brickley’s Gym as a playable court for offline pickup runs. As well as a high school hoops mod. I assume those will take a couple months, but yeah early impressions are I’m glad I made the leap to PC this year.
