Re: NBA 2K14: MyGM Developer Diary

wow is all I can say
But really no one can say that this is the same has association mode was. The amount of things they did to mygm in one year of a new game is crazy and very impressive. I cant believe all of this was added in just the first year of next gen. I had preorder a ps4 months ago and I had thought about cancling it and wanting in till like February because I still have a lot of other games I need to play more of and with being 24 and working I don't have has much free time to play has I did when I was a kid and the only other game on ps4 that interest me is knack and in February infamous comes out and not long after mlb the show and probly drive club. But after seeing this I am glad that I am getting a ps4 right away because basketball is my favorite sport and this mode sounds awesome the only problem is that I may spend so much time doing stuff in the mode I don't know if I will have time to play the games in the mode lol.

Re: NBA 2K14: MyGM Developer Diary

Just a simple question as my english is not the best.

When they talk about "Custom rosters" in this case:

Custom Rosters – As has been the case with our franchise modes for a long time, you will be able to continue to use your own custom rosters when starting a new MyGM.

I used to play Association with a gigantic Draft in the beginning of the mode including all NBA Players. Is that the same thing ? Can we begin MyGM with the same type of Draft ?

Thanks in advance.

The fact that people are complaining about this being too deep blows my mind. It really shows the people that didn't want a sim association experience. Laugh worthy.

Yeah lol I find it extremely laughable. The more deep, and more similair it becomes to great simulation sports games like Football Manager, the better. Although I think it is just online and MyCareer guys coming in and saying that. I doubt any old Association players were.

Just imagine how great MyGM could become with deep, FM like simulation coupled with outstanding gameplay and graphics. Hopefully in a few years that's what it is.

As much as people cry about, " I want to have a sim experience" they really don't"...they basically want to run down the court shoot 3's all game, just have a franchise mode that allows them to make trades to assemble a dream team, then complain that 2K's franchise mode is stale.

That's really the way it's looking. For about 4-5 years now, we've been asking 2K to give us exactly this, and people are complaining it's too realistic and deep?

Give me a break, we finally have an NBA world we can be immersed in, instead of just boxes and stats. People don't want realism, they want boring.
