Important question about playing league pass games in MyGM/Season modes

I've seen this question asked multiple times by different folks, but I don't believe it's been answered (apologies if it has). Does anyone know if you're able to play any game on the schedule in MyGm or Season mode, or are you stuck only playing the schedule of your selected team? I'm concenred this is the case, as I just watched a stream and it didn't seem like you had the option of picking other games on the schedule. If anyone can clarify, it would be much appreciated.

According to Shakedowncapo's stream last night, me specifically asking this question and him looking to see if you could, it appears that you cannot. League pass is there, but he wasn't able to select whether to sim or play games except from a particular menu that only shows your teams games. This applies to both MyGM and Season.

That is a massive blow for me...I like to pick any game and watch as cpu v cpu....can't believe they took this option out as Erick knows how much a lot of us rely on this for enjoyment and immersion in a season/association.

Very disappointing.
