Anyone buy a digital copy of 2k14?

I'm still on the fence about buying 2k14 in digital form. I like the idea of being able to snap between games and a bluray.

But digital always makes me nervous, I guess because it seems new to me.

Any thoughts or experiences with buying games digitally?

I'd say digital. You have to install every game on PS4, so you're essentially buying a digital game with a disc on the side to take care of. Buy it digitally, you're buying the same thing but with no disc.

When you buy digital ...the game is downloaded to your hard drive right? What happened if you lose membership w/ Sony...do you keep the game?

Its not like PS Plus where if you cancel your sub you lose the game (that's only on free game). You own the game. The only thing I'm not sure about is if there is a download limit like their was on PS3

I'll be getting it on xbox one, but if it's like the free for gold games it should just be on your hdd.

Still debating but it sounds like digital should be no problems. I don't imagine I'll want to sell it.

The problem with going digital is that you spend more money in the long run, because you don't get the in store deals like Buy 2 Get 1 Free. Also you can't trade the game in after you get sick of it, so that you can get some money/store credit toward your new game.

I bought the digital copy because the game was sold out in my town. It took like 5hours to download and a whole day to install. I have a fast internet connection

Honestly I don't get why digital cost as retail given that they imply less costs
