Anyone ever tried an offline "online" dynasty?

Since they removed my favorite thing about this game, I was trying to think of way to work around it and do it anyway. Have y'all tried an offline online dynasty? Everyone picks their team, plays at the same pace and play matchups with edited rosters on quick matchup?

I'm thinking about trying it with some friends but don't know how it would work. Can you control more than one team in association to make other teams' trades?

Thoughts?

You can only do a single user MyGM and season mode. There is no multi user anything outside of quick games.

Also, if you're going to use edited rosters, good luck having to load them from the 2K cloud each time you want to use them. And if you're offline, it's not possible at all.

That's what I'm saying, me and my buddies each start an offline dynasty and play at the same pace

But then you wouldn't be playing together. You'd all just have separate MyGM saves going all at once.. There's no way to keep everything the same.

But it's as close as you can get. If someone is an 8 seed and someone is a one seed, we'd play round one of the playoffs as offline games

Quick game. If you lose, you let the CPU beat you in that particular round of the playoffs

This is all well and good if you are okay with it. I used to do this 20 years ago with my friends in a Madden league. Back then all you could do was "play now" games.

Seems in this day and age you shouldn't have to do that. But if you are all happy....more power to you!
