Doesn't anyone else hate how long plays take?

The plays take to long to start and by the time it gets running the CPU's PG steals the ball or you look down to see yourself getting double teamed. Way slower then current gen.

This and you'll eventually learn what plays are best for a situation or which ones you like better.

I know which plays run better against certain teams at this point. I also notice that if you play the game patiently and work the ball movement, plays run smoother and execute more efficiently.

I've been saying this to my boys since the game came out. Plays aren't as effective now as they were on last gen. When I ran Floppy (mainly) or Horns plays I could almost always get a shooter coming off screens for an open or decent look. Now it seems as if the defenders are unfazed by the screens being set. I really don't like it. It takes a big part of the gameplay away for me. I'm starting to wish that they DID just port the game and only upgrade the graphics. Feel I would've been much happier. Right now I'm in a serious love/hate place with 2K more so now than ever before.

Edit playbooks using the current gen playbook edits thread. This is arguably the best thing, you as a user, can do to make the game much more enjoyable/realistic.

It might be easier if you try to call the play while you're running up the court so when you get up there you can just get right to your spot and start moving the ball

I do that half the the time. Then when u get to the circle uu have moments of sitting there for ever to get bumped out, ball get stolen, doubled, or the play stops.

no but I hate that my PF and C wont pick and roll to the rim and instead half the time float out of the paint to the perimeter...
