Just thought I'd share a fix.

I had the issue which I created a thread about, that had my player missing gear on himself and all the thumbnail images missing. All my clothes were set back to stock.

I was able to fix this my hard resetting my console. If you are on X1, turn off your XBox then remove the plug and plug it back in. Use your controller to power on the console and it should be fixed.

Not a fix but I had this earlier today when the patch came out. Just took a break from 2K, played some Madden and some Powerstar golf went back in and everything reappeared like normal.

I don't see how the power to the console itself has anything to do with those software glitches. It's a hard thing to try to reproduce and test. I', guessing it was just a freak occurrence and you got lucky. Don't think this might be a reproducable fix.
