Your best bet is to do it. Just continue through the screen to create a new MyPlayer. That's the only way you'll get to the main menu. Your old MyPlayer comes back when the server is working.

I got in and was able to play mycareer online for a while, then got kicked out after trying to buy upgrades. I would start an offline career for times like this but its no use since itll be lost as soon as i get online again as it uses the same slot.

I signed in on my first try at 11pm central time. Got into MyCareer as well. When I tried to use some of the 10k I got yesterday, however, it kicked me off the servers and now it wants me to create a new MyPlayer.

Stop posting that PSN thing, has nothing to do with it because I can play all my other games online fine. It's 2k servers.

It's a straight up joke that playing a main feature of a game is contingent on the network being up. Nobody that plays my player cares about being online. Its greed. Period. Only reason it's tied into online play is the money making VC aspect of it.
