So I am having no problem, have played a few games online yesterday. I dont see nba today so im assuming its down. Thats okay my question is how do you d up. Ive tried everything and my opponent usually shoots 70 percent. Someone is always open, I try to limit transistion, i try to stop perimeter they can do whatever they want.

Ive only had the game 2 days, but where do i go to make defense kinda d up.

When defending a player, press L2 or L Trigger on X Box to defend... If you wish to CONTEST his shot, move your right analog before he shoots (I usually move it toward the defender). If you wish to block his shot (last resort only) press the triangle or Y button on X box.

Find/Change the "Defensive Assist Strength" slider in the 'Options' menu.
- Default setting is at 50.
- So drag the slider down to 30, or less. (The lower the number = the better defense)

Reducing the strength of the CPU's Defensive Assistance will help to reduce the amount of times that your CPU teammates leaves his opponent completely unguarded.

Don't get me wrong, your CPU teammates will STILL manage to leave their opponent WIIIDE OPEN...there is nothing you can do to prevent this..... but the lower the number for this setting, the less often it should happen.

Playing off ball helps more in this game. Watch the A.I for players cutting and setting screens. It almost feels like a chess match at times lol. Make sure you have good spacing defensively .
