I noticed on Chris Smoove creation that we both picked shot style #26 for our myplayer. But I noticed his shot form is 42, 26.

I only have the option to choose one type of shot and I choose 26 is anyone experiencing this when they started theirs?

I believe his form is 26 and release is 42....but not positive.
Sine you can alter form, release, and jumper I would double check his build.
I prefer Melo's or Westbrook's form over the generics, but that's personal preference.
