Does anyone else play this NBA2k14 vanilla?

Does anyone else play this NBA2k14 vanilla?

What I mean by that is without any patches, just the out of the box version?

I got the game and since everyone was having tons of issues, I decided to play offline and never download the patch. So when ever I put in the disc, before I do I turn off my wifi.

I have never been kicked to the dashboard during a game. The only issue was once in my career I got in that loop of being kicked back got the dash but that was because I think I saved and exited in the middle of a game because I had to go out. That is where I got stuck in the loop. But now I just finish a game before exiting and it has not happened again.

The game plays pretty well with the out of the box settings. I don't know how it plays with patch #3 but since I have not had any of the issues others seem two have, I think others should try playing this way too.
