Is it possible to use a custom roster in an offline mygm?

It has become obvious that 2k has done this as well as removed create a player so that people cannot keep playing this game after 2k15 comes out. In doing this, they are forcing you to purchase their product every year if you want an updated NBA experience. Really is a joke. I won't be purchasing another 2k if they stay in this direction for 2k15. I will just sell my copy of 2k14, go back to 2k13 for ps3 and update the rosters myself for the next few years lol.

I found out a trick to using your own rosters in MyGM. After creating and uploading your own rosters, go to MyGM and choose 'Yes' for the custom rosters option. When you are prompted to select a set of rosters, go to the last option on the list. It will show a different gamertag, but it is YOUR rosters. It's very odd. It worked for me at least.
