I don't think it was a bad look but 2k just trumped it wrong but once again they were banking on a gimmick, I use nba live as an example, I've never most of the songs on they soundtrack but it feels right and very basketball oriented. I wish they had the ability to let us customize our own game soundtrack then they wouldn't have to use their own.

Yeah the Jay-Z thing was a good thought, but poorly executed. Wow that sounds pretty similar to most the stuff I say about 2k.

On the real though, NBA Live 07 soundtrack. Best soundtrack ever.

They had to know beforehand that a big part of the soundtrack would be him and Kanye. That's what killed it for me, too much of them. They probably just let him choose to get his name on the cover.
And NBA Live 07 was the ****. That's the last Live game I played and the thing I remember most was the soundtrack lol

Same here that's why I suggested it. The only reason I actually miss that game is cause it had a perfect soundtrack.

I'm pretty open about music, but I think as a basketball game it needs to stick to rap.

I like the old soundtracks better cuz they had more hype songs...like give me some Lil John and some old crunk music or something that makes me wanna bust someone for real lol.

Nba 2k10 & NBA 2K11 Soundtrack standout as the best among the series as of recent memory. A few hits here and therein between 2k6-2k9 but as a whole I feel like I enjoyed the game alot more when there was less pop music and more underground artists that I'd never heard before, getting some shine on the 2k soundtracks

I've ran across this song on YouTube. For some reason, it seems like a type of song that would be on 2K that you've never heard that you'd download after hearing it a few times. Also has like that "reggae" type vibe I guess.

Just go back to using mostly underground talent.A lot of these songs we already which made me mute the soundtrack by the 2nd week.Need all fresh songs from fresh artist as they done in the past.
