The injury slider

In 6 of my past 14 games, my best player has suffered a season ending injury.

Oh Lord how this game frustrates me.

The 2 relevant sliders are injury frequency and injury severity.

Does anyone know if raising the injury severity slider (i.e. well above 50) increases the severity of injuries?

Since Ive lowered the value to 25, Curry and Duncan have both suffered season ending injuries. But lowering the value to create more serious injuries seems counter intuitive.

Does anyone know for sure?

You may have discovered something. I'd have to investigate further.

Re: The injury slider

Yeah the injuries are kind of a problem, not only are they unrealistic(broken patella isn't common like that) but they don't even make sense the way they happen most of the time. I had a game against the pistons where josh smith fell back after taking a jump shot, fell on his back, not even hard. Was out with a concussion for 2 weeks. That makes absolutely no sense. I have my injury sliders lowered. I play with the injury severity slider at about 20-25 and the injury frequency slider is at 40, still haven't noticed that much difference my whole season. And in 2 games back to back, bosh got a broken patella taking a jump shot, i reset both times because that is crap and makes no sense.

Yep, good point. They dont look realistic.

Curry did his ACL for a 2nd consecutive game (I had both inj sliders at 20) so I had to reset again.

Resetting runs the risk of corrupting the save file
