As he did in real life.

As someone else has pointed out, it is possible for him to resign with Miami.

It is also possible for him to sign somewhere else.

How is this not realistic?

What, unless you expect NBA 2K14, which came out in 2013, to be 100% accurate to events that wouldn't happen until 9 months later...

Unless following the real NBA free agency period with 100% accuracy is your definition of "realistic", which I think is insane, what more exactly do you want?
I believe it would be a lot more realistic if Melo and Lebron didn't always sign with small market, lottery teams as much as they've done in my repeated playthroughs.

Nope. I also did state above if he did leave the only place he'd go is Cleveland. Gosh I feel like a broken record......

I'm convinced that no matter how much tweaking and adjusting they do its almost impossible to mirror a realistic league. There's just too much "personality" that doesn't translate back to video game code.

At least with more control the user can make adjustments on the fly when they see things going off the rails.

This force-feed linear path with single GM control has no place in a sport "franchise/association/dynasty. Leave that stuff to the MyRPG crowd and get back to giving the use more administrative control not less.
This should happen this year...........I hope

You said there's no possibility that he leaves.

That's exactly what he did.

Lol if you're gonna quote me do it correctly. I said there's no way he goes anywhere else. I figured you'd have enough common sense to assume I meant Cleveland or Miami like I stated previously, but I guess that's what I get for assuming.

Watching the 76ers draft Zach Lavine first overall and then sign Lebron James and Utah sign Carmelo and the Lakers draft a pg then sign 2 pg will also ruin your experience.
