As the title says. Can this not be set ? Or was this only for NBA Today games ?

Nope....I've been asking for them to add this since Live 10 had this option. Even if you had this option I think the crowd noise is still pretty weak compared to Live 10's. IIRC Live had 3 options for it.....regular, playoff and Finals....
