Anyone else quit playing 2K14 in anticipation of 2K15?

I basically quit playing it after the season ended as well. Online Association with fantasy drafts is what kept me playing into the summer in past years...

I had to trade 2K14 due to playing too arcade even on sliders and harder levels, I just never liked the game from the fist moment it was on my PS4 Nov 15 2013. So for me 10 days to go I can't wait for new game.

I have the same routine every year. I always buy 2k on release day and play it some mixed with Madden, but I play much more football. Every February right after the Super Bowl I put Madden down and pretty much immerse myself in 2k. I play it until around the time the Finals are over, then I take a break over the summer until football season again.

I'm 28 now and I've pretty much had this same routine since I was about 11 and that was before 2k was even a game.

I've also really got into FIFA, and I've actually played it more than Madden which is completely crazy for me.

I think this is a great year for sports games. Madden isn't perfect but looks great and plays pretty well. NHL lacks game modes but I really enjoy the gameplay and the crowd/atmosphere. FIFA is excellent in every way to me. Lastly, I think NBA 2k will be the great bball game created to date. I'm also rooting for NBA Live to succeed as well.

I played 1 full game on next gen.. That's it.. Just couldn't get into it..But I have a full time job also..

Haven't played 2k14 in over a month. But I will be playing some this week to get ready for 2k15
