MY PLAYER - Hot Zones

Can seem to find any information on this anywhere...

This year do the HOT ZONES grow with how your player plays? I have one and its the one under the bucket... I was wondering if you can help your hot zones grow by practicing in the arena or if its just in the games?

I am not 100% sure I get your question. I have hot zones all around the arc because my guy is pretty good from 3. But I have a cold in the paint from layups that usually does not go in.

I believe it's just based on games and I believe you can make a cold zone, hot if you do well enough and vice versa.

As a SG, I started to live on the right hand side of the bucket over the last couple games. Had a game where I drained 3 straight from the top of the key...then went into the shootaround a few days later and both of those spots were now hot zones.

What is awesome, is in real life those are my spots. I play on player lock camera, so it is kind of like you are on the court and have to react like in real life,so I naturally go to the posts I would in real life...and those are now my hot zones in the game too.

Don't know if it was a coincidence, but I thought i was pretty awesome. Hopefully they expand and change over the career.

So, from what you guys are saying (and what I am seeing) the hot zones grow with how you play game in and game out...

its not like if you attribute up using VC to be a great 3pt shooter you wont automatically get hotzones around the arc... You have to start hitting shots there in your career prior to the hot zone lighting up for you.

Yes. Hot zones reflect your best shooting areas from playing games.
