Online ranked intentional foul does not work!!

I have tried it many times. Offline....it's hold L1 + R1 and it will work. Or hold L1 + R1 then hold X or square button. But online....i did the same thing and IT DOES NOT FOUL my opponent. And i even try all combination of buttons. Now i am force to change the settings to "auto" intentional foul. It sucks man... i want to be able to do it myself.

I don't understand why 2k thought it was a great idea to change the Select button from Intentional Foul to changing what camera you want. I think that's so dumb because I can't name one person that would want to change what camera angle they want during the middle of the game. Why not just change the select button back to Intentional Foul? I don't get it
