Pressing the Y button should let you jump, oh it does but after about 3 seconds. Not sure how realistic that is.

If you want to "test" realism, go take a middle of the pack team and play a season with them.
If you lose way too many games, turn down the difficulty no matter how much it "hurts", if you win too many turn up the difficulty.

I don't know if it's just because I've played this game since I was 10 years old..but from the beginning to where we are now? This game is as close as we've ever been to real life. There's always gonna be issues that ruin the realism, but if there's ever a "perfect" game it's probably not going to be a sports title.

I have no problem with things being to sim as long as it doesnt come off as being forced or scripted like your not even playing as that then effects the fun and interaction aspect of the game .

too realistic is too fun. ppl who ball in real life or have elite understanding of the game of basketball should have an advantage. it's the cheese - something that allows kids to compensate for their lack of skills vs good players who play the game the right way - that's frustrating, not the other way around. a cheese-less game is a beautiful thing.

i dont think its any where near realistic because in my mycareer on the pacers they cant stop any backdoor passes and just stare while someone drives on them
