Players Retiring and Becoming Coaches

Is there a specific trait/attribute/badge that determines which players become coaches?

Is it random, or predetermined?

I also want this to be kind of a list of what players that are becoming coaches in your MyLeagues/MyGMSs.

I've had:
Earl Watson
Ray Allen
Chauncey Billups
Kevin Garnett
Paul Pierce
Tim Duncan
Steve Nash
Kobe Bryant
Vince Carter

Pick a few of them and cross reference their badges...maybe it's something there. Maybe like having the All time Great badge or something.

Earl Watson kinda throws that list off tho so it's hard to say.

Adding Dirk Nowitzki and Andre Miller to the list.

I personally think it's the mentor badge that does it. I haven't confirmed yet but that's the only reason Earl Watson would fit this list.

Mentor Badge might be it!

I don't know why I didn't list them, but I did see the guys mentioned above as coaches.

I wonder if I put Michael Jordan on a team or in Free Agents, give him the mentor badge, then see if he retires and becomes an assistant coach.

Maybe it is just random and how do they decide what there ratings are has a coach?
