Lineup Change Mid-Season?

So I went to the Cavs as a PG for my second season. They benched Irving and made me a starter. About 1/3 through the season, Dion Waiters got injured so he wasn't starting. As a result, they put me at SG and Irving at PG. Fast-forward a bit and now Dion Waiters isn't injured anymore. However, the lineup has remained the same and he is still benched.

Is this a bug or something that fixes itself over time? It is bumming me out because a big reason as to why we have such an amazing record on HOF is because of my ability to run the offense and run plays. Without On Court Coach and me in at SG over half the game, accompanied with the play bug--the games are way too close.

Thoughts?

The game changes lineups every once in a while even if everyone is healthy. Players who don't get minutes get put in the rotation, starters get switched etc.

For example I'm a PF on Clippers. DeAndre started at center for the first few weeks, now I'm at C and Griffin is starting on PF.
