do the Flyers even have a boost?

yes i know 2k says we have one but did they forget to turn it on or something?

we all know the 3 factions boost (in case you dont),

Flyers get Better Defense, Playmaking
Ballers get Better scoring overall
Rough riders get better rebounding and athleticism

its pretty easy to see that the baller boost is there with the ammount of BS (i mean constested) shots that go in. and the rough riders to to be gods of the bigs, NOT SAYING THEY CANT BE BEATEN. but it seems like our boost is just there for name but we have nothing to show for it.

hell i have been STRIPPED more while doing a crossover by ballers and rough riders today compared to other flyers. like what gives. a hand down one of their throats still results in getting j'd. our guys seems to suck at reacting to loose balls that we MADE LOOSE.

it just feels like our boost isnt here or its really random.

Lately I haven't felt much of the boost from Flyers or Rough Ryder's . I did when I first started.

You can barely even rip big men, it's ridiculous how much a big can take you off the dribble in MyPark, it's the worse part about it IMO. That and the contested 3s.

MyPlayer is 6'7, Approaching Lvl 3 All-Star, and honestly contested threes in general go in far too often. With most of my defensive stats 80+, very frustrating to see good close outs not really mean anything.

However since my shots are still going in, in the same fashion I suppose in that sense it's a wash...so how does their boost work exactly...or does it just kick in?

Plus all Lvl 3 All-Stars get hard fouls, with 'no calls' so they can swipe all day with no real penalty, then Legend 1 boosts steal success, headache...

Im at flyers. Shooting guard: maxed out defense stats, lockdown defender badge, defensive anchor badge and yet some1 hit fully contested 2pointer for a win over me. Also there is always some1 making atleast a few fully contersted j's over my 'good shot defense' every game.

Defensive stats for this game mode is redundant imo, increasing athletism and shooting is all you need basically.

Imagine having all your defense in the 90s maxed . Contested shots are ridiculous . There's really not much difference in percentage when compared to open shots

LMAO. I actually maxed out my defense like an idiot on one player and didn't even touch it on another and they defend exactly the same.

One is quicker because he is smaller but I'm sure if they were the same height they would move the same. My taller guy even blocks shots with no upgrades. Defense is still non existent but that's been 2k for ever. Nothnig new here.

The boosts that the Flyers get are boosts that you actually have to have skill to maximize because if you don't know how to do any, the game won't help you out with Passing and Defense, you have to know how to do those things first or they don't mean anything.

The Rough RIders and Ballers are the total opposite.


Now with the Ballers and Rough Riders, all you have to do is just shoot 3s all day and your stats will help you out even if you don't know how to shoot or drive correctly, having high stats in 3s and dunks allows the game to babysit you in some way.


The cap difference isn't big enough.

The caps should be like this.

Ballers (Scorers but lack defense)
- Dunking 85, Shooting Inside and Out - 99, Passing -80, Defense -80 . Rebounding - 80

Flyers (Old School Passing & Defense but lack athleticism)
- Dunking 80, Shooting 85, Passing - 99, Defense - 99, Rebounding - 80

Rough Riders (Athletic with good defense & rebounding, but lack shooting)
- Dunking 99, Shooting 80, Passing 80, Defense -85 , Rebounding - 99



You will really see a big difference in the players if this was the game. Not everybody playing the same and noone having an advantage because one skillset means more than the other.
