Ummm not sure if people at 2k know but..... The player first name suppose to be on the back not the last. Ruins the feel of the jerseys

Just change player names in the roster and it works.

I'm guessing here, but I'd think they'd have to completely change code to get this to work correctly.

I remember when MLB The Show put in Jackie Robinson day. They had a huge issue with making the game put #42 on each player without it ruining everything.

Perhaps the 2k crew didn't have enough time to find a fix for this, so they just stuck with last names.

I don't know I never tried it I remember reading it another thread complaining about this issue.

This likely isn't feasible since they'd need to code in a brand new jersey type that displays the first name instead of the last name. I'm guessing it's not a simple "true/false" flag type of switch to be done, and since they're already working hard on 2K16 it's doubtful they would take the time to code in a brand new jersey type instead of just patching in a strictly art asset that behaves the same as other jerseys.

Just got to Christmas in my MyGM season and found out I can't use the Christmas jerseys because they appear to be again tied to rosters. I really despise this and don't really understand why new jerseys get locked to new rosters, and it makes me wish I had a powerful enough computer to run NBA 2K15 so I could just go back to modding in the Christmas jerseys in my already-in-progress season.
