Dunking In The Post?

The last two years, I have no idea what's happened to dunking. I cannot ever get players to dunk unless they're already moving. Big men simply REFUSE to dunk when they're under the hoop. And certainly never while in the post. I do not understand it.

I've had much more success stand-dunking outside of the restricted area.Inside of the half circle you get those push from the back animations.

Also, if your big man has the posterizer badge and his defender is inside the restricted area and there is a couple inches space between your big man and his defender, there is much bigger chance contact dunking.

With that said , i like this year's difficulty to contact dunk and the increased number of blown dunks in traffic.We were just used to unrealistic dunking in the past.

Any tricks to get more dunks from spin moves baseline or hook/post drives to the middle? Or is it really just about the posterizer badge, and holding R2+right stick?

While we're talking about the post...what in the WORLD is possessing players to run under the basket when I'm backing down with someone in the post? It's like my own teammates want to force a double team on me. For some reason, with some teams guards are able to go around the guy posting up and get free to the hoop for an easy bucket, but on other teams, they never lose their man. Or, the other frontcourt member will run into the post bringing his defender with him. STUPID!

I've actually noticed that dunking in traffic seems to have been toned down drastically this year.

he does drop step dunks in it as well as the hop step dunk you are doing
