Do you use shot stick when shooting or x (Xbox one) ?
I use x and I can't hit **** - I shoot like 20% for game miss wide open layups open 3's everything

I'm on PS4, just got the game a week ago. I use the skill stick can't shoot **** either. Playing with sliders I saw on the sliders thread too but damn.

I have never shot that bad in a game. What level are you playing on? Have you mastered the shots releases in practice? I use shot stick timing and the shot stick and I have never been that bad.

I use the shot stick.

Doesn't matter what you use just get used to it. Go into practice mode, turn on shot feedback and practice until you get the mechanics down.

It happens to me in league play all the time. We play 12min HOF/Sim & if your opponent decides to go into defensive settings to adjust their defense in order to stop your shooters. Even when your open you will miss more than you would make, especially if your shooters can't get a perfect release.

You can either play more of an uptempo game & get more shots up & play the percentages. Or slow the game to a crawl & take very selective good shots to play the percentages. But it really comes down to your personnel on which style you choose.

I'm the Wizards in these pics, 2 games (both post patch) against the same person (Coack2K). I played an uptempo game the 1st time around & tried to slow it down the 2nd time we met up. Out of the two styles it's better for me to run more of an uptempo game. I actually caught fire in the 4th from deep in the 1st pic, so the percentages worked in my favor taking more shots. In the 2nd game I shot poorly and had to live with the results of taking less shots.

Pacers 101 points 72 in the paint and 14 made freethrows
is 86 so he made 15 points out of his 101 mid range or three

I just hate seein stats like these ..cj miles alone could do better

I used to feel like you did on old 2ks. But on 2k15. The paint can be defended. If a person scores alot of paint points its on the defense. So I really dont see a problem with it, im sure no one on the pacers can make contact layups over 3 defenders.

Additionally, mid range scoring is a thing of the past in real life. There may be 7 or 8 teams in the entire league that score over 20 points from mid range those days are over. Everything is threes, fts and paint in 2014.

Box scores should be earned not manufactured. If you guard to tight on the perimeter then you give up the drive. Got to give the offensive player the jumper sometimes.

I played the same pacers user and he scored 26 paint points. Every game is different.
