Yeah I was about to say; thats why Ernie and Shaq can go back and forth between the shows. If they added one, it'd be even nicer if the presentation could be varied with the other.

TNT has done it before with Sony, so its doable
Yep, NBA Live 97 and 98 had the TNT/TBS license on the original PlayStation.

There is no reason for you to be in a thread about presentation complaining about controls.

Cmon man don't get ridiculous like the trolls do.

Games of the Week/Playoffs = TNT/TBS graphic pkg

Everything else: NBA TV

The game is now amazing. You can all thank me later.

This times 100! Kill two birds with one stone. Both presentation packages offer a different look and feel while sharing assets. Add in a College Hoops Tonight recap show along with Kenny Smith (licencing aside, I dont think you can capture Barkley in a video game, honestly) doing top plays and we have a classic!

Re: When will 2K man up and buy the TNT license?

i don't really care about the TNT license. honestly it wouldn't really add much to the game for me, and i see why 2k hasn't bought it. it would probably cost them a ton of money for something that wouldn't make much of a difference to the game. it's probably just not worth it to 2k to shell out that much cash when 2k's presentation already does a great job of mimicking a broadcast. 2k would basically be paying a ton of money just to slap a "TNT" logo on their existing presentation. is that really worth all that money? not really. as long as 2k's gameplay is top notch, i couldn't care less if there is a TNT logo on the screen.

Different people enjoy different things in the game. For instance, I don't care one bit about MyCareer, The Park, shoes or crew mode returning. But I understand that there are many people who do enjoy them. NBA 2K has a wide audience and that comes as a double edge sword. You cant satisfy everyone all the time. Gameplay is number one and 2K delivers there without question. And, yes, the presentation is solid already. But as a "franchise" type, it gets stale over the course of 82 (I play about 30 give or take) games and now 80 seasons. A little authentic TV broadcast variety is good. It's not like 2K isn't capable, they released a game 10 years ago that still hasn't been matched (IMO) on the presentation front. Most of us just want something like that on the NBA side. The strong TNT ties (Harlan,Kerr, Ernie & Shaq) only makes the absence of the full license all the more peculiar.
