Does the Patch automatically download for the Xbox 1 or is there somewhere you have to go to download?

if you can play online, you're caught up. Try to play online, and the patch will pop up.

Thanks bro for responding I play online all the time but I never received a prompt to download the new patch? Does it come through as a update because I haven't received a message to update

Check your roster. Larry Sanders (Bucks) and Otto Porter (Wizards) will have goggles, if you have the patch.
