From what I've seen and heard, no. I miss that; in one of the earlier versions of MP/MC I remember missing ~23 games during my rookie year due to a high ankle sprain and several bouts of back spasms. You got the choice of playing through some minor/moderate injuries which risked further injury and sitting out to heal. Playing through injuries got easier as your OVR increased but it was kinda fun seeing if you could still hang with the AllStar/SuperStar players while injured. But like so many other aspects of 2K(D-League, Summer League, Draft Combine, Rookie Showcase), it got canned because people complained.
