How to Perfectly Trigger a Freelance Offense: Swing Motion Edition by Sam Pham

Freelance Offense this year has been a GREAT addition to the game. The downside is that triggering the branches can become a messy + shot-clock consuming experience.

Sam Pham went out to resolve this problem, and I was able to come up with the following improved version of freelance Swing Motion:

Throughout the video I only called one play "Swing Weak Post 15 Punch". This is necessary because it gets the court alignment right, plus it offers some clean initial options. Every other play you saw came out of the Freelance Swing Motion Set. I choose to click Smart Play to activate those freelance plays to save precious shot clock time.

Trying to run freelance without setting up the right court spacing and/or clicking smart play is shot clock suicide. Freelance is great, but it needs a little bit of user input/manipulation to become deadly efficient ^_^
