Do you need to equip a certai animation? Because I've been holding the right stick to the left/right while turboing and it doesn't do anything but trigger a dunk animation.

You probably know that but just in case it is left/right camera relative (unless you have set it to absolute).

^This.

Change your camera setting to "absolute" under controller settings

As said abov, the day I set my pro stick camera setting to absolute was the first time ever I could do the lay ups I wanted and the exact crossovers I was trying for. Before that I'd just trigger random animations! Controller, pro stick camera- absolute.

2k mode is just one of the cameras and has nothing to do with you're pro stick relative settings...

If he's in practice with 2K camera most likely it will be turbo + left or right to do hop step layups.

lilteapot : Could you try in freestyle mode with any NBA player see if it works ?

Just tap the ''X'' button on X1 then you can finish with the R-Stick, or use the ''X'' button again.
