For those asking about strips/defense, I have spoken with the defense team regarding big man strips. Happens too frequently imo, and that's a convo we've been having for a while now as well. The post-game should be very rewarding for those that master it - and I know the gameplay team will continue to improve upon that.
I think what needs to be addressed is people who are not good post players still being effective. The "Post control" rating should govern footwork and the vulnerability of the ball. Players who are poor in that department should have a 50% chance at traveling, dribbling off their foot or losing the ball when attempting advanced moves.

just look at the terrible footwork blake exhibits;i want that kind of replication in 2k.

Blake's post up game is extremely ugly but its also extremely effective as well. Would you choose a jumpshot that looks nice but goes in at a 40% clip or an ugly jumpshot that goes in 55% of the time?

no need to swoop in and save Blake. I specifically mentioned his footwork.

Yes, I want to do/see a drop-step into a dunk ala Shaq, DeMarcus Cousins and Dwight Howard. Or even a called charge on the drop step.

I'd also like to see a nice post up up-and-under move or Boris Diaw's "cream shake" maneuver. They also need to add a shimmy shot that leads to a smooth hook shot animation and not just a fadeaway shot. We could use a plethora of new moves and animations in the low post, maybe even bunched into package to represent different styles of low post scorers.

Last but not least, a lot of the fadeaway animations need to be re-done because they've slowly gotten worse over time.

Shaq deserves his own post up game animations/dunks...

Anyway...I'm hoping 2k has power backdowns like Shaq used to do.
Yes, give guys like Taj Gibson (he is superior offensively) and Tiago Splitter a purpose. Currently, quality low post defending big men are useless cause they have no counters or their defensive impact is nerfed.

man oh man. If i could dominate with Shaq like that, i would have a blast. Dont think i could do anything like that since 2k13. And even that fell very short.

I hate how a shooting foul is called most of the time on defense in the post.
