Even if you believe getting it 4 days early is no big deal - the reason to pre order a hard copy is it tells Game Stop or where ever how many to get. If only 2 people pre order they will get less physical copies so if you go in a week later they might not have any if there is a rush on the game.
I'll never get a digital copy of anything if I can not have a hard copy! Too many lessons learned on that one.
