How do think badges with worth this year?

Excuse the title. I meant how do you think badges will work this year? If a mod could change it for me that would be great

They are making all these changes to the ratings system, I know they have to be doing something about these badges. Fixing them, changing them or just reworking them.

Some didn't like how you had to get them and want to be told how close they were to getting a badge but I personally liked the challenge of getting them. Even though tutorials popped up but all of that was fun to me.

For quick game purposes, they need to identify the line between badges and attributes. I play with a SG that has an 85 3pt rating, and he'll brick everything because he doesn't have deadeye, corner specialist, or any other shooting badge.

Meanwhile, I can use an '86 Jordan whose 3 is terrible, but if I apply all gold shooting badges, he will hit a high %.

There's so many unexplained variables with badges conflicting with attribute ratings that I think it may be better if they didn't return.
