Official Confirmed freelance/motion offenses Thread

Czar confirmed that there's 21 freelance offenses and 8 motion offenses

So far this list is

Triangle
Golden State motion
Spurs motion
Jazz motion
Hawks motion
Seven seconds or less (05 suns)
Rick Adelman Courner offense
Houston (harden aggressively comes for the ball, and everyone clears out so he can play 1-1)

Really glad to see 7 seconds or less and Adelmans Courner offense make their debut

Re: Offical Confirmed freelance/motion offenses Thread

I really wonder how the seven seconds or less offense is gonna work. Is it gonna make you push it every time in transition?

Re: Offical Confirmed freelance/motion offenses Thread

The Mavs flow offense is in.

To be honest they abandoned any flow when Rondo came in.

But as a Mavs head who watched 70 of their games last season, I'd love to see their offense was replicated from the first 50 games.

Only problem as I see it is that it was heaviliy based on mobile bigs (Wright/Chandler) setting lots of picks and diving hard to the rim. With Pachulia and Dalembert, they don't have that type of player.

It pains me to know that the Mavs pre-rondo in 2015 were the 3rd best team in the west behind GS and SA respectively. They could've made a run at the Western conference finals at that rate. Now I don't think they would've beaten the Warriors, but still a season to be proud of regardless.

Anyway, I'm still waiting for a basic Flex offense. I guess I'll have to study the Spurs motion and 7 seconds or less and the mavs flow offense for now. I can't play free motion ball anymore, I need patterns and rhythm.

I forgot the exact name of the offense. But he mentioned the clippers 3-2 offense will be in there. It's a very heavy pick and roll offense.

Yep it wasn't just the win/loss numbers. The offense was going at an all time pace. Most knowledgeable fans knew the Rondo trade was not a basketball fit.
